Song of the Month, "Ridin' Down the Back Roads"; Upcoming Shows

Hi Guys,

To maintain our contact with you, each month we email you two posts from our blog. The first gives you the news about what has gone on for us during the month, and the second one is our "Song of the Month" article, a history of one of our original songs. Both posts will include information about our upcoming shows! So, whether you are near us or far away, there is something for everyone to check out! Hope you enjoy the posts!

Our Song of the Month for October is called "Ridin’ Down the Back Roads," a song from The Road Less Traveled CD. To read the songwriter notes, check out the lyrics, and listen to the song, click here!

We'd like to thank all of you who have attended our shows over the last couple of weeks! As always, we really appreciate your support, and without you the shows would not be any fun! Here are our upcoming shows:

On Sunday night, 10/18, we are headed into Rochester to play at Temple Bar and Grille. It's a cool little place in the heart of downtown Rochester, and on Sunday evenings they have Celtic Night. Siobhan and I have eaten there, and the food is great! If you are in the city on Sunday night, stop in for a bite to eat and a few cold ones! (Temple Bar and Grille, 109 East Ave., Rochester, NY, 7 PM to 11 PM (585) 232-6000) To learn more about the Temple Bar and Grille, click here!

On Friday, 10/23, we are back at Maloney's Pub in Hammondsport! Trust me! This is a hopping place! The patrons are terrific, and they engage in the music; so, if you come, be prepared to join in the fun! In addition to music lovers, Maloney's draws some of the finest pool players in the area; so, if you are a shooter, come out and engage in some great competition! Should be a great time! (Maloney's Pub, 57 Pulteney St. (on the point), Hammondsport, NY, 9 PM to 1 AM, (607) 569-2264)

On Saturday, 10/24, we will be at Eddie O'Brien's in Canandaigua. This is a friendly place in the heart of the city's downtown area! The food is great, and the patrons are fun! So, come on out for a few drinks, a delicious dinner, and some "good time" music! (Eddie O'Brien's Grille and Bar, 182 S. Main Street, Cdga, NY, 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, (585) 394-8810) To learn more about Eddie O’Brien’s, click here!

On early Sunday evening, 10/25, we will be at the Canandaigua Brew Company! Scot and Shylo Caton, our next-door neighbors, are the owners, and along with them, we have developed a little Sunday night monthly jam. This is a casual event, and we will not be using a sound system. If you are a player, and you want to join us, bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, etc! Should be a good time! (Canandaigua Brew Company, 14 Phoenix Street, Cdga., NY, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, (585) 394-8485)

On Thursday, 10/29, we will be playing at Tyson’s Tavern in the historic Fells Point district of Baltimore. This is a hopping little place right near the harbor, and the food is great! If you are going to be in the area, stop in and see us! If you know anyone who lives in the area, please forward this message to them! (Tyson’s Tavern, 2112-Fleet Street (between Chester and Collington), Baltimore, MD, 8 PM to 12 AM, (410) 342-2112) To learn more about Tyson’s Tavern, click here!
Hope you are all doing well! We'll be back with our monthly update in a couple of weeks! Drop us a line and let us know what is going on for you! Love ya!
