Song of the Month, "Cool Hand Tuite" (Shakin' the Bush); Upcoming Shows

Hi Guys,

Happy Holidays! Hope you are all doing well! Our Song of the Month for December is called "Cool Hand Tuite” (AKA Shakin’ the Bush), a song from The Road less Traveled CD. To read the songwriter notes, check out the lyrics, and listen to the song, click here!

We'd like to thank all of you who have attended our shows over the last couple of weeks! As always, we really appreciate your support, and without you the shows would not be any fun! Here are our upcoming shows:

On Friday, 12/18, we will be at Jose and Willy's in Canandaigua for a "happy hour.” The bar overlooks the north end of Canandaigua Lake, an excellent spot to start off your weekend! Come on down and grab a few drinks and some great chicken wings or a delicious cheeseburger! Dancing starts at 8:30 with a great local rock-n-roll band; so bring your dancing shoes and make an evening of it!! (Jose & Willy's, 20 Lakeshore Drive, Cdga., NY, 5 PM to 8 PM, (585) 394-7960)

On Saturday, 12/19, we will be at Eddie O'Brien's in Canandaigua. This is a friendly place in the heart of the city's downtown area! The food is great, and the patrons are fun! So, come on out for a few drinks, a delicious dinner, and some "good time" music! (Eddie O'Brien's Grille and Bar, 182 S. Main Street, Cdga, NY, 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, (585) 394-8810) To learn more about Eddie O’Brien’s, click here!

On early Sunday evening, 12/20, we will be at the Canandaigua Brew Company! Scot and Shylo Caton, our next-door neighbors, are the owners, and along with them, we have developed a little Sunday night monthly jam. This is a casual event, and we will not be using a sound system. If you are a player, and you want to join us, bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, etc! Should be a good time! (Canandaigua Brew Company, 14 Phoenix Street, Cdga., NY, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, (585) 394-8485)

On Thursday, 12/31, we will be at the VFW in Canandaigua for New year’s Eve! If you are a member of the club or a friend of a member, come on over and see in 2010 with us! The regulars at the organization are very friendly, and they will start your year off on a good note! Hope to see you! Should be a good time! (VFW Post 7414, 93 S. Main Street, Cdga., NY, 9 PM to …, (585) 394-8625)

On Friday, 1/8, we will be at the Lumberyard Grille in Canandaigua for a "happy hour." Along with its well-known Friday night fish-fry, the Lumberyard has many other terrific entrees! So, start your weekend off with a few drinks, a delicious dinner, and some "good time" music! (Lumberyard Grille, 106 Bemis Street, Cdga, NY, 6 PM to 9 PM, (585) 393-5550) To learn more about the Lumberyard Grille, click here!

On Saturday night, 1/9, we are headed to Naples to play at the Naples Hotel. Greta, the chef, has her crew shipshape, and word has it that they are cranking out some delicious entrees! We will be playing in the little bar off the dining room; we played there years ago, and it is a great little spot! Stop in and see us! Should be a good time! (Naples Hotel, 111 S. Main Street, Naples, NY, 9 PM to 1 AM, (585) 374-5630)

Have to get going for now. By the way, if you know of any venue in your area where we might be able to perform (bar, coffeehouse, house concert, etc.,), let us know. We don't need very much money, and in addition to being able to visit with you, it will give us a chance to travel, meet some new people, and spread our music a little more throughout the land! Hope you are all doing well! Drop us a line and let us know what is going on for you! Love ya!
