SINGER/SONGWRITERS IN THE SIDE ROOM PRESENTS JACK JONES, KENDALL PAUL WILT, AND FRAN CARY

Hi,

This blog started out giving you posts of the songwriter’s notes, lyrics, and music for my original songs. As with many things, it has gone in new directions. So, if you just started reading my post and are interested in my original material, here is a link to mySongwriter Notes.

If you want to listen to me and my partner, Siobhan, Practicing, here is a link to ”A Little Thought I’d Like to Share,” an original song on my YouTube channel.

On Thursday, 10/6, Jack Jones, Kendall Paul Wilt, and Fran Cary will be our guests in the Side room at Buffalo Bill’s. These guys, members of the well-known Stid Hill Stompers, have been bringing good times to music listeners for many years with their folk, country, rock, and Americana music. Although The Stid Hill Stompers are primarily known for their great renditions of classic covers, they have sprinkled their shows with some terrific original music. They’ll be playing these original songs in the Side Room this Thursday, and it’s going to be a real treat. You don’t want to miss it! Rather than telling you more about this group, here are some videos of Jack, Kendall, and Fran from a previous show in the Side Room:

”I’d Be Grateful”
”My Brother Chimpanzee”
”I’m Sorry John”
”98.7”
”Rag & Bone Man”

Want to know more about the Stid Hill Stompers? Check out this web site: The Stid Hill Stompers

Hope you can join us for the show!

The concert is free, but we do ask for donations to support our performers. Siobhan has created four CDs, one for each of our four seasons. Each CD contains songs of the performers who appeared during that season. The requested donation for each CD is $10, and the proceeds go to the performers who are playing on the night of the donation. The CDs have gotten good reviews, and we hope they get passed around to let others know about the great talent we have appearing at this venue.

The concerts take place on the first and third Thursdays of every month in the side room of Buffalo Bill’s Family Restaurant and Taproom, 19 Main Street, Shortsville, NY. The show runs from 7 to 9 PM. To learn more about Buffalo Bill’s, check out their site right here:

Hope you can join us!
All the best,

Siobhan and Frank

SINGER/SONGWRITERS IN THE SIDE ROOM PRESENTS PAULSEN AND BAKER WITH GUEST TIM CHAAPEL

Hi,

This blog started out giving you posts of the songwriter’s notes, lyrics, and music for my original songs. As with many things, it has gone in new directions. So, if you just started reading my post and are interested in my original material, here is a link to mySongwriter Notes.

If you want to listen to me and my partner, Siobhan, Practicing, here is a link to ”When You Were Cute and I Had All My Hair,” an original song on my YouTube channel.

On Thursday, 9/8, John Paulsen and Keith Baker and Tim Chaapel will be our guests in the Side room at Buffalo Bill’s. Paulsen and Baker have been bringing good times to music listeners for over four decades with their folk, country, bluegrass, rock, and Americana music. Most of the time they did this with John Garvey on bass as the renowned Paulsen Baker and Garvey. Since Garvey’s retirement from the band, Tim Chaapel, a little shorter in stature, now keeps the group together with a fine sound on his standup bass. Although Paulsen and Baker are primarily known for their great renditions of four decades of classic covers, they have sprinkled their recordings and shows with some terrific original music. They’ll be playing these original songs in the Side Room this Thursday, and it’s going to be a real treat. You don’t want to miss it! Since these guys are in a witness protection program, I cannot show you any videos of them. You’ll just have to trust me!
